About Therapy

Therapy that works requires trust.
Whether you’re seeking family, reunification, or individual counseling, I believe in the inherent strength and wisdom each person brings to their story.
My mission is to provide a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where individuals, couples, and families feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Guided by honesty, empathy, and curiosity, I help clients identify stuck patterns, deepen connection, and develop the confidence to make meaningful change. I am committed to walking alongside you as you reclaim your voice, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with clarity, autonomy, and purpose.

Solving relationship problems is my specialty.
Using a Family Systems perspective, alongside CBT, EFT, and Gottman techniques, we’ll explore all sides of the crossroad you face by taking an honest look at what got you and your family and/or relationship(s) to this point.
We’ll explore whether and how the relationship can be saved, considering all your options and developing a game plan.
Systems-trained thinking is a skill that benefits individuals and families because it examines the interaction patterns created by the entire family unit and then helps us articulate ideas about the impact on an individual.
Reunification work with the whole family, parental alienation, and narcissistic abuse recovery are some of my specialties. I also enjoy working with couples and families who have experienced emotional disruption and need to reconnect to strengthen the bond.
About Gina Laterza, M.Ed., LPCC-S

My professional training is diverse.
After receiving an M.Ed. in Marriage and Family Therapy, I’ve been practicing in the field for over 20 years, working in various settings.
My education in family systems is a rare and highly trained skill that examines the interaction patterns created by the entire family unit, which then helps us articulate ideas on change.
My training specializes in several areas, including reunification work with the whole family, parental alienation, couples counseling, and working with neurodiverse populations.
I enjoy working with individuals and families who have experienced emotional disruption and need to reconnect to strengthen the bonds.

When I’m not at work…
I also enjoy rollerblading with my 150-pound dog, competitive sailboat racing, traveling to different countries, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
I love to dance and enjoy Mexican/Latin and Mediterranean foods!
As hard as my job can be, I want it with all my heart – just as I enjoy my free time. A balance between work and play is an essential value for me.
